First time buyers need to appreciate that the funding of commercial properties and businesses is entirely different from the easy funding available on residential property. A mortgage is a loan secured on property and whilst it is possible to get mortgages on commercial premises the deposit required is substantially greater on a commercial property than a residential property. If the commercial premises are held on leasehold tenure then it may be necessary for a purchaser of a business to provide more than 50% of the purchase price of the business prior to borrowing. We can introduce prospective buyers to commercial lenders at main Lending Institutions and have access to other professionals, Chartered Accountants, Firms of Solicitors who are all specialists in their own fields.
